Terms of Service
Effective: June 2026 · Oremi Technologies
1. Software Utility Status
Oremi operates as a self-custodial software utility tool that routes cryptographic transactions on public blockchains. We do not act as an escrow agent, broker-dealer, financial institution, or custodian of your funds.
2. User Custody & Key Management
Because the Oremi software operates entirely on a decentralized self-custody framework:
- You are solely responsible for keeping your 4-digit PIN and seed recovery phrase secure.
- We cannot retrieve, reset, or restore lost keys or seeds for you.
- Loss of your private keys or seed phrase will result in the permanent loss of access to your assets.
3. Fees and Swaps
Cryptocurrency transactions, token swaps, and bank payouts processed via third-party providers (such as Korapay, Flutterwave, or decentralized liquidity pools) will be subject to flat fees (R30 for South Africa, ₦100 for Nigeria) and dynamic slippage rates shown clearly to the user before PIN authorization.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oremi Technologies shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from transaction failures, smart contract bugs, network congestion, third-party provider downtime, or user PIN disclosure.
